CNN Host To Pamela Geller ➠ “Do You At Some Level Relish Being The Target Of These Attacks?” ➠ Video
Boston terrorist Usaama Rahim was plotting to behead activist and conservative blogger Pamela Geller.
He was shot dead by police and an FBI agent this week.
CNN reporter Erin Burnett interviewed Pamela Geller about this latest death threat on Wednesday.Burnett asked Pamela if she relished being the target of the killer Islamists!
Erin Burnett: On that draw Mohammad cartoon event in Texas. Obviously, some people see it very differently than you see it. You see it as an art event, they see it as you showing pictures of the Prophet Mohammad who should not be drawn. You obviously have done other things. You remember those ads on the New York City subway. You took the Transit Authority to court. You won. You were able to post ads that included words like this, “In any war between the civilized man and the savage, support the civilized man. Support Israel. Defeat jihad.” Are you surprised that there are some that want to target you for words like that?
Pamela Geller: I’m surprised that the media would side with those that would target me. Of course, I’m not surprised that they would target me. This is a war and they seek to impose the Shariah… My question to you is, do we not want to defeat jihad? I mean, what is wrong with those ads? There is nothing wrong with the cartoon. There is nothing with the cartoon that incites violence.
Erin Burnett: The Southern Poverty Law Center, as you are well aware, has described your group… as an active anti-Muslim group. They track hate groups in this country. They describe you as the anti-Muslim movements most visible and flamboyant figurehead. They track hate groups. They put you on that list. Nothing justifies a beheading or beheading plot. But it’s important to note this. I mean, are you stoking the flames. Do you want at some level relish being the target of these attacks?
Pamela Geller: Relish being the target. Who self-promotes to get killed? That’s the first thing. The second thing is the Southern Poverty Law Center? Really Erin?
