iPhone Thief Takes Selfies That Reveal Her On Facebook

Some thieves are smarter than others; one young female thief apparently inhabits the lower rungs of the IQ ladder, stealing an iPhone from a patron at a Denver bar, then taking selfies of herself, which happened to connect to the owner’s Facebook folder.

Rawley Bingham, 23, was visiting a Denver bar when her phone was stolen. Bingham later discovered that 30 selfies had uploaded to her Facebook folder. Bingham told KUSA-TV that the alleged thief knew how to disable the “find my iPhone” feature, but selfies of the girl have proliferated on Facebook. Bingham added, “There’s a lot of selfies of her around downtown Denver. She had a great Sunday.”

The alleged thief was supposed to meet one of Bingham’s friends at the airport who had texted Bingham for a ride, but never arrived there. When the thief’s mother found about the theft, she grabbed the phone from her 17-year-old daughter to return it.
