Latest Quinnipiac Poll: Trump, Cruz Virtually Tied In Iowa Among Likely Caucus Voters

Donald Trump backed by 31% in Iowa, while Ted Cruz backed by 29% less than a week before the state’s Republicans convene for presidential caucuses on the night of Feb. 1, a Quinnipiac University poll shows.

Marco Rubio has 13%; no other contender for GOP nomination with more than 7%.
Only 2% of likely caucus-goers declared themselves undecided; 39% of those who named a candidate said they may change their mind.

Cruz leads Trump among Tea Party members, white born-again evangelicals, voters who rate themselves “very conservative”.

Trump leads Cruz among “somewhat conservative,” “moderate” or “liberal” voters.
