Parents Outraged After Students Make Sickening Find In Cafeteria Lunches
Parents are outraged after their children, who attend a Texas school, made a sickening find within their cafeteria lunches, and some are swearing never to let their kids eat at the school again.
Students at Caney Creek High School in Conroe were shocked on Monday when they sat down to eat and noticed something in their broccoli that wasn’t exactly appetizing, according to KFOR.
“It was kind of strange and gross that we had actually seen it and that it happened to us,” said student Falyn Evans.
She was sitting with a friend in the cafeteria when she went to take a bite out of her broccoli. But she saw something on the food that made her take a step back – it was loaded with bugs.
“There’s no way they could’ve missed, picking up a handful of broccoli like they do with their gloves on, and not seen these ginormous bugs,” said Falyn’s mother, Melissa, according to Click2Houston.
School administrators sent out an email to parents letting them know they were aware of the bugs and “any concerns are taken very seriously,” but that’s not good enough for Melissa, who said Falyn won’t be eating the cafeteria food any longer.
“She will be taking lunches,” said Melissa. “She will not be eating it anymore, at all.” More
