The jihadist group’s jaw-dropping vow has made Palin — the vice presidential running mate of John McCain in 2008 — all the more determined to push for the U.S. military to destroy it, she tells Newsmax TV.
In fact, it’s her Christmas wish.
“ISIS [is]declaring death to children with Down Syndrome. I read that and I kind of got choked up about it,” Palin said in an exclusive interview with J.D Hayworth on “Newsmax Prime.”
“I said to myself something like that is over my dead body will ISIS ever be able to destroy the American way of life, which includes embracing children with special needs like Down Syndrome.”
In April 2008 at the age of 43, Palin gave birth to her fifth child, Trig Paxson Van Palin, who had been diagnosed prenatally with Down Syndrome, a genetic abnormality that affects a child’s intellectual and physical development. More
