Mayor Rawlings Blake told reporters last night that she would welcome Al Sharpton to town.

Question: This afternoon one of the leaders of the peaceful protest made a public calling for Al Sharpton to come to Baltimore.

 

Mayor Rawlings-Blake: Anyone who wants to add to the calls for peace in our city is welcomed. If Reverend Sharpton wants to come, if parents want to encourage their children
to act within the law. I met with young people who this afternoon; young people who want peace, young people who want justice, they were giving their own suggestions.

Al did a smash-up job in Ferguson.
