150 Lbs. Of Explosives Found In Oklahoma House After Standoff


BETHEL ACRES, Okla.A standoff with an armed suspect in Bethel Acres ended Tuesday morning after 7 hours.

Authorities arrested 44-year-old John Quinter just after 7:30 a.m. Tuesday. Authorities found 150 pounds of explosives in the house.

The standoff began around midnight when authorities were called to the home near Hardesty Road and Angie Lane for an assault call.

Authorities believed Quinter may have been involved in a weekend homicide in Pottawatomie County.
