Donald Trump and Ted Cruz Team Up, Make HUGE Announcement

As the current presidential campaign has unfolded, we have seen front-running Republican candidate Donald Trump attack anyone who has criticized or irritated him. Ask Fox News’ Megyn Kelly or Univision’s Jorge Ramos.

On the other hand, Trump is apparently willing to join forces with others who have refrained from attacking him, even if that person is his GOP competition.

Consequently, in a move that is unique to presidential campaigns, Trump announced that he will team up with Texas Sen. Ted Cruz, also a presidential candidate, and do “something very big over the next two weeks in Washington.”

Following his recent campaign rally in South Carolina, Trump explained that he and Cruz will “protest” the “totally incompetent” nuclear deal the Obama administration has recently concluded with Iran.

Trump added that Cruz was a friend and a “good guy.”

Trump has been a vociferous critic of the Iran deal. When he announced the combined Trump-Cruz rally, he noted that Iran was going to receive $150 billion in the deal.

“You know what I would do?” Trump asked reporters rhetorically. “I would not give them the money.”

Campaign officials for Cruz told The Blaze that Cruz had “invited Donald Trump to join him on the Capitol grounds for a rally to call on members of Congress to defeat the catastrophic deal that the Obama administration has struck with the Islamic Republic of Iran.”

Cruz campaign spokeswoman Catherine Frazier stated the event would be sponsored by the Center for Security Policy, Tea Party Patriots and the Zionist Organization of America, and she thanked them for their “hard work and effort.”

She added that further details about the event — including the date, time and exact location — would be given as they are determined (H/T The Blaze).

This announcement is a nightmare for Democrats who can now visualize a rally against President Barack Obama’s vaunted Iran nuclear deal by the combined forces of two GOP presidential candidates who have both been surging in recent polls.

In addition, Cruz supporters are undoubtedly extremely happy to have the opportunity to ally themselves publicly with the extremely popular Trump.

Please spread the word about this upcoming event by sharing this article and video with others on Facebook and Twitter.
