Cops Praise Body Scanner After Unlikely Item Found In Woman’s Vagina
Maryland police are praising their latest technology upgrade after a scan of a female suspect resulted in officers finding an unlikely item inside of a woman’s vagina.
Frederick County Sheriff’s Office authorities say that 23-year-old Brittany Anne Sapp of Hagerstown was pulled over by police for a traffic infraction on Saturday afternoon, according to WUSA9. A K9 unit was called to the scene, and the dog alerted his handler to the presence of contraband. A search revealed suspected heroin in the car, causing Sapp to be arrested.
Sapp was taken to the Frederick County Adult Detention Center for processing, and while she was being booked, she was placed in the facility’s body scanner. The resulting scan “revealed inconsistencies” with the suspect, and a later cavity search turned up the culprit – a 1.7 gram bag of heroin stuffed inside of her vagina. More
