Firearms Manufacturer Makes Bold Move In An Effort To Combat Terrorism
Although the current administration would like us to believe otherwise, terrorism is threatening the world as we know it. With Islamic groups, such as ISIS, calling for lone wolf attacks, and people around the world taking them up on it, it’s time to put an end to their atrocities once and for all. Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem our “leaders” in Washington are doing much about it. So, it seems a firearms manufacturer as taken it upon themselves to make a bold move in an effort to combat terrorism.
Would snagging a free rifle tempt you to help stop terrorist groups like ISIS and Al Qaeda? Well, one firearm manufacturer is hoping so and they are making this a reality for any agency willing to take them up on it.
TrackingPoint firearms is giving away ten rifles to any U.S. agency willing to take the guns to the Middle East in an effort fight terrorism. After the introduction of the “squad-level precision-firearms” Thursday, TrackingPoint stated that they are looking to have their savvy new rifle replace the older models already in service.
“It’s hard to sit back and watch what is happening over there. We want to do our part. Ten guns doesn’t sound like a lot but the dramatic leap in lethality is a great force multiplier. Those 10 guns will feel like 200 to the enemy,” said John McHale, the company’s chief executive officer.
Last year, the U.S. Army bought a handful of the rifles to test, but there’s been little updates or word on how they performed for the soldiers. Shipment for two new rifles styles by TrackingPoint will begin December 5. After production was halted earlier this year due to financial instabilities, the company ramped back up and is back in full force. They believe their rifles could be the missing link that seals a win over ISIS and other terror groups abroad. More
