Laura Ingraham Suggests Tech Giants Twitter and Facebook Should be Run as Utilities
FOX News host Laura Ingraham joined Howie Kurtz Sunday morning on Media Buzz. During the discussion on social media targeting of conservative content and conservative publishers, Laura suggested the social media giants need to be regulated like utilities.
Leftists have made social media such a vile cesspool since President Trump won the election. When I look at Trump’s Tweets, I only see nasty and abusive comments. Why? That’s because almost every Conservative have been shadow banned. Are they trying to break our spirits by only showing us all these horribly negative posts?

Laura Ingraham: Molly we talked about this earlier that there’s this thought that given the enormity of these corporations and as Howie said and Dinesh pointed out, this is the public square today. This is the equivalent of what we used to see in the old town square with people with a bullhorn. And so could there be a movement to treat them more like public utilities. So that they have some quasi-government oversight of these entities or would that open up a total can of worms perhaps in the other direction at some point.
Of course, Laura Ingraham is correct. Lawmakers must act before the far left social media giants wipe out conservative publishers and conservative content.
Already several TOP conservative outlets have been effectively put out of business since the 2016 election.
The left understands that conservatives used social media to stay informed in 2016. Now they are making sure this will not happen again.
Because of this we were targeted and have seen our numbers related to Facebook and Twitter decline dramatically.
In every single Facebook category our numbers are down. In page visits our numbers were skyrocketing before the election. Then in three distinct periods our numbers were cut off.
This had nothing to do with the quality of our posts as we have proof that our generic numbers are up and and continue to increase.
In all statistical categories provided to us by Facebook our current numbers are below linear projections of where we should be.
In February 2018 Facebook launched another algorithm change to their platform. With the changes we saw our traffic dwindle even further.
We weren’t the only ones to be affected. The algorithmic change caused President Donald Trump’s engagement on Facebook posts to plummet a whopping 45%.
In contrast, according to Breitbart’s Allum Bokhari, Senators Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) and Bernie Sanders (I-VT) do not appear to have suffered a comparable decline in Facebook engagement.
