Obama Gives All Respect to Islamic Holy Days While Denying Christmas
Barack Obama denying Christ is not a shocker. Since Obama took office, his actions of “America is not a Christian nation” came early on in his first term. In essence, Obama and his regime have “transformed” America’s Christmas season into a secular holiday. Meanwhile, Obama promotes Islamic holidays with reverence, completely with Islamic understanding of their holy days.
Obama’s legacy will show, under his years as President, the damage done to Christmas is vast. Obama has undermined the very definition of Christmas, starting with the federal government. Under the Obama regime, VA facilities rules for Christmas are as follows:
Public areas may only be decorated in a manner that is celebratory of the winter season. Displays must not promote any religion. Please note that trees (regardless of the types of ornaments used) have been deemed to promote the Christian religion and will not be permitted in any public areas this year.
Obama’s address at the Charlie Brown 50th Anniversary Show sounded like Christmas had to do with global warming:
“They teach us that tiny trees just need a little love and that on this holiday we celebrate peace on Earth and good will toward all,” President Obama continued, with Michelle Obama promptly adding, “Because — as Linus knows — that’s what Christmas is all about.”
So, Christmas has nothing to do with the virgin birth of Christ, as God made flesh, come into the world? We all know that is the definition of Christmas, even by any dictionary standard. In contrast, Obama goes out of his way at Islamic holy days to officially give correct definitions and the correct salutations to the Muslim community. Obama’s address to Muslims at Ramadan this year:
“As the new crescent moon brings in the holy month of Ramadan, Michelle and I send our warmest greetings to all those observing the month of fasting in the United States and around the world.
“Ramadan is a time in which families and communities come together for iftars and prayers in festive gatherings that demonstrate the rich and diverse traditions of Muslim societies and cultures.
“It is also a deeply spiritual time of reflection and renewal meant to increase thankfulness and consciousness of God’s mercy. Muslims honor each day of Ramadan as a day of patient endurance through fasting, and each night as a night of gratitude through prayers…”
As Joseph Farah points out in World Net Daily:
The point: It seems Obama knows something about Ramadan. It seems he is careful not to offend Muslims. It also seems he is clueless about Christmas and thoughtless with regards to its meaning.
Draw your own conclusions.
Obama’s responsibility as president is not to redefine a Christian Holy Day. No matter what faith a president identifies with in their hearts, the United States is founded on Christian principles, not secular principles. Being founded on Christian principles, America is a Christian nation. Nothing Obama or his regime do or say will change the history or the Christian spirit in which the Founding Fathers birthed a new nation.
On this day in America we say, “Merry Christmas! And May God Grant Us Peace And Goodwill Toward All Men.” Amen.
