Professor Turley: Nadler Made “Major Blunder” By Insulting Senators

George Washington University Law School’s Professor Jonathan Turley noted that impeachment manager Democrat Rep. Jerry Nadler made a “major blunder” by insulting senators while discussing the Senate impeachment trial on 1/23/20.

Senator Lisa Murkowski, a moderate Republican, said she was offended by House manager Nadler’s claim that because Republican members voted against allowing new testimony and evidence, they were engaged in a “cover-up.”

She spoke after Nadler’s accusation: “I took it as offensive. As one who is listening attentively and working hard to get to a fair process, I was offended.”
