At the closing of Fox News’ first Republican primary debate that featured the top 10 candidates according to national polls, one closing statement stood head and shoulders above the rest.

Sen. Ted Cruz laid out a five-point plan that he would implement on day one of his presidency, should he be elected. The plan has resonated with conservative voters because it’s exactly what needs to be done to fix what President Barack Obama has broken over his past two terms.

Cruz explained that on day one, he would first bring the United States back into accordance with the U.S. Constitution:

“The first thing I plan to do is to rescind every illegal and unconstitutional action taken by Barack Obama.”

He immediately jumped to the hottest topic facing the nation at the moment, the undercover videos that have successfully exposed Planned Parenthood’s disgusting practice of selling the harvest organs of aborted babies.

President Cruz would “instruct the Department of Justice to open an investigation into these videos and prosecute Planned Parenthood for any criminal violations.”

His third task would involve shutting down the Internal Revenue Service and Department of Justice’s persecution of those who stand firm in their right to express religious liberty. More
