Warren: ‘How Could The American People Want Someone Who Lies To Them?’
Elizabeth Warren suggested that presidential candidates who lie would not represent the American people.
“How could the American people want someone who lies to them?” the Massachusetts Democrat told reporters in Iowa on Sunday when asked if it is disqualifying for a presidential candidate to lie about anything.
“I think that — that we just do our best out there every day, and I hope that’s what happens with everyone.”
